The Squad

When you think we have had recently had 2 promotions to the Premier league and the money involved , our squad is ver poor. The Three main Directors should be ashamed how they have wasted the opportunities and wasted money on so many bad buyers. We now look for division 1 players. The best manager in the world would struggle with our players to get promotion next season. They should have left the football side to a top paid football Director.( the large sum they would have to pay him, would have saved us and them millions). Not to late now I hope.

The game has dramatically changed on field, but even more off-field and we are so far behind the curve it's frightening.

Clough,George Graham, Hollaway Redknapp, Allydyce were all made wealthy beyond their salaries by transfers dealing and cuts from those transfers. I believe Allydyce's son was a football agent who dealt with his father's club a fair bit........

Why any organization would let these types run a club is beyond me.

Klopp doesn't set the price or do the deal at Liverpool, nor do any of the top clubs.

I have never understood why Tan didn't employ someone like a Slade to be the football man. He trusted him and although some of his deals didn't pay off we never paid massively over the odds.

Hopefully, they have learnt, although I doubt it.

I don't think the squad is that bad, we have a lot of characters and strengths. Its tough but uninspiring, its just so unbalanced as we don't have any flair players.

Ship out 1 centre half (Flint) and two CM's and replace them with an attacking full back and passing midfielders and we are not a million miles away.
