This medical seems to be taking forever, whatever the truth and whichever way it turns out. Loads of signing are already on the BBC football website.

Why don’t the club tell us fans something when so many of us are stuck at home (working or otherwise) for obvious reasons?

Yeah, it would be a great idea for a club to publicly reveal that a player is due to sign pending a medical - increasing the interest in a player. Nothing is signed until after the medical so they can't publicly announce anything.

Medicals typically take a couple of days, but on deadline day they are done a lot quicker for obvious reasons.

Other clubs have signed players but it's likely those deals were in the pipeline for a lot longer.

It astonishes me how some people thinks it's easy to do a transfer.
