WATFORD SIGN BERGKAMP

Watford have signed Mitchel Bergkamp - son of Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp - who joins the U23s subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a six-month contract with an option of a further deal.

MUJICA JOINS LAS PALMAS

Leeds forward Rafa Mujica has joined Las Palmas on loan until the end of the season.

DONE DEAL - Simmonds joins Birmingham City

Birmingham City have signed 19-year-old striker Keyendrah Simmonds from the Premier League side on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Forward Robert Glatzel has today joined Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.

Glatzel has scored eleven goals in all competitions for the Bluebirds since joining from 1. FC Heidenheim in August 2019.

Jonny Williams has joined Cardiff City on Transfer Deadline Day. The Charlton midfielder and Wales international has joined the club for an undisclosed fee.

Manager Mick McCarthy said: "I think it is one of the best deals of the transfer window. Especially late on, we've managed to get Jonny Williams in.

"I worked with him at Ipswich. He was fabulous. He brings a smile to the place. He's very, very talented. And he's Welsh, of course."

Premier League champions Liverpool have signed Turkish defender Ozan Kabak from Schalke.

Liverpool have an option to buy Kabak at the end of the season and will pay a £1m loan fee now with a potential for a £500,000 bonus based on games played and how they fare in the Champions League.

The option for a permanent deal is priced at £18m, plus add-ons, and does not need to be activated until June.

MENDEZ-LAING A BORO BOY

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has joined Middlesbrough, linking up again with manager Neil Warnock. The two won promotion to the Premier League together with Cardiff City in 2018.
