Aden Flint is set to sign for Preston North End on loan until the end of the season.

Cardiff City will continue to pay Flint's wages for the remainder of the season.

Alex Neil's side are to bring in Flint as a replacement for Ben Davies, who is set to join Liverpool in a deal worth £2m.

Players can now play for up to three teams in one season.

I agree, a silly rule really I can work for as many people as I want within a year,as long as they pay my wage, what's the difference with footballers? I know contracts can be very complex,but surely if all parties agree, they should be allowed to earn their crust anywhere that wants to pay them

yep.....had this Watters fella actually signed for and played 1 game for one of those non lge outfits he was on trial at....then transferred to Crawley....in an ordinary season FIFA would then step in and stop ..what might be the only opportunity he would ever have to jump to this level with us...

Why on earth would they sanction a loan away when we pay all his wages?? Ignoring he has started the last 2 games, May was well keep him here and not play him than let him play for someone else out of our pure generosity.
