Jenny Williams latest name linked, very injury prone be a risk, if we can keep him fit be a good signing, creative player, something we r still missing

Exactly my point; it's all rumour and conjecture

Another league 1 standard player who is playing at his correct level and won't make the step up .

He has the odd good game in 5 and because he's Welsh we should automatically sign him. No different to when Vaulks signed who is also league 1 standard

We have too many of this type in the squad we need quality championship players

Planning for next season thomas..

Re: Transfer gos.

Totally agree Thomas...18months ago a premier club....going backwards sharply

Re: Transfer gos.

Up until the last two years we signed solid proven championship players we hoped could step up to the premier league if/when promoted

Now we sign lower league layers we hope can play in the championship

That is a bad turn of strategy which will only end one way and that is midfield obscurity or relegation.

Pack the team with these players like we have done with Nelson, Vaulks, Watters, NG , Glatzel and you end up with a poor squad overall, especially when you are backing those up with our u23s.

The odds are you will probably find one gem in 10 lower league gambles at best.
NG will probably be ours by the look of it but the rest need replacing

Jonny Williams perfect for us. We specialize in signing players who are or become injured and are hardly seen again Watters being the latest.

odd good game in 5 ? he struggles to get a starting place . made the starting XI 7 times out of the last 30 .

Not really interested in the promised land of the premiership. Just want a strong top 6 challenge every season. If we go up then that's a bonus.

Perhaps that's negative but I dont really enjoy the constant beatings and torture of scrapping for 40 points.

Then when you go down all your star players go and it wrecks the club from top to bottom . Even with the parachute payments a club never seems financially stable.

Got to look how he could fit in to our team shape and actually he’s a good fit.

We haven’t got a player of his type who is sharp in the tackle and a good continuity passer.

This might not be a popular view but I actually think he’ll keep the ball better than Ralls and is certainly more willing to make forward runs.

He may not be a regular starter but at £200k will provide a nice option to change things around.

I’m quite happy if this comes off.

Would going down to league one really be that bad?
I’m not saying we’d fly straight back up however we’d surely have a few good away days.
I’m with you fully. :thumbright:

if we went down I don't think we'd come back for a while , think it would be a disaster going down

not for me... enough bits and pieces players here already... we should be signing A player that would be a first pick .. not numerous cheaper punts in the hope one might come off...
