Looks like a 3-5-2 or a 5-3-2 depending on possession I suppose.

That is a horribly industrial looking line up. Surprised Murphy didn’t start today - thought he showed enough on Wednesday.

For the second match in a row, I couldn't have predicted this line-up.

Hopefully we get the three points.


I normally try and make an educated guess in advance on what the line-up will be so I can put the team out on here quickly, but I haven't stood a chance with the two games since Mick McCarthy was appointed

Looks unbalanced to me but stronger at the back

Where is the attacking threat ?

Will be interesting to see how they line up on the pitch

Could be a 343 with Ralls in a advanced role

Was expecting Murphy to start after Wednesday

McCarthy has said on a couple of occasions that he's keen to look at the youngsters.

18-year old attacking midfielder Rubin Colwell is among the substitutes today.

Pragmatic team selection. We cant play any football but we can bludgeon teams with horrible set piece attacks. Land of the giants with Morrison, Moore and Flint on corners. For once can we please score first in a game!

If I was picking a side for a nil nil draw that might be it. The worry is we will just lump long balls up to an isolated Moore. What does Murphy have to do to get into the team he has been very good on his last three or four appearances I feel sorry for him think he is being messed about. Presumably he doesn't run about like a headless chicken in training so isn't picked. Same for Wilson. McCarthy is in his honeymoon peroid at the moment but to me some of his team selections look dubious to me. He may prove everyone wrong and win the match but if we don't I expect questions to be asked. I expect today's game to be dour.

I thought flint would play today as milwall have big Matt smith at the front and will play direct. I would have played a back 4 and Wilson as a 10 though. Maybe mick predicting another physical game and will look to keep it tight and hopefully bring Wilson and Murphy on after 60 mins

I like the tatic, just keep copying how Swansea do things. That's two transfers and now the formation this season

I know it's not the club's fault, I'm not that stupid, but for once it would be nice to sign a player who doesn't pick up injuries straight away, and manages to be available. We have had too many players over the years who sign, and all of a sudden are not available. Sorry you couldn't see I was being ironic, or sarky.

Murphy MOM when he came on in last game but dropped again, no wonder he is pissed off? With the selection I fancy we are playing for a no score draw! Liverpool to loan Wilson to another club before deadline?

Whatever word is used to describe it, it will probably be awful to watch. Anything less than a win and fans will be moaning about of the football.
