Harry Arter former Bluebirds favourite is told to 'find a new club'

Nottingham Forest release Harry Arter

former Cardiff City favourite Harry Arter has been released before Monday's deadline.

The 31-year old established himself as a firm favourite with fans during his spell in the capital, where he made 27 appearances under Neil Warnock during the club's Premier League campaign.

He joined Forest from Bournemouth back in September, but has seemingly fallen down the pecking order under boss Chris Hughton, seeing just two minutes of action since mid-December.

Chris Hughton has told the midfielder to find a new club before Monday's deadline.

Him and camarasa our only two, stand out performers in the premier league, thought both would have stayed there, obviously neither did

I’d take him back.

Him and Vaulks in central midfield would certainly add a bit of bite !!

No more opposition players running 50 yards without us laying a glove on them !!

Camarasa was excellent at times but a bit lightweight and injury prone

Arter was useless a complete headless chicken with no end product

No goals, no assists but runs around a lot.......So is a Cardiff fans favourite.

This is why we have 3 CM's who are the same and Pack. It's what we cherish the most.

Warnock didn’t want him back when his loan finished contrary to popular belief.

Personally, I found him under whelming myself. Did a job.

See what you mean, but all depends on how you viewed him as a midfielder,he was never brought in as a creative midfielder,he was signed to close down the opposition midfield, win the ball and pass it on,shows how bad our team actually were really

That was the Makelele role, and he was excellent. Only scored 15 or so goals in 20 years. Could do a job in front of the back 4 if you could stop him tearing around

He was mobile and aggressive. Could do with more of that now tbh

He would be the answer to our midfield issues

Having him sat in front of the defence would release our midfield to go forward . It would also allow us to get Wilson and Tomlin in the same team

I doubt he’d come back after the reception he got last time he played us at home. He had to do the long walk off from the corner of the Ninian/Canton to the oldest chant of wanker I’ve heard In a very longtime.

Yup, two clubs have got rid pretty quick since he left; and one of those managers was 'family' :ayatollah:
