No Bennett or Cunningham.

Cunningham travelled with the 22 man squad, but will now be leaving City as planned.

Academy striker Isaak Davies named on the bench tonight. A great night for him & Tom Sang.



Well, did anyone see that coming?

Aden Flint comes straight into the starting lineup. Our expert from Ipswich Andy Warren said he would be the exact sort of player McCarthy would 'absolutely love'.

Sean Morrison drops to the bench, which hints he is probably fit enough to play.

Harry Wilson is also dropped from the starting lineup for the first time this season, the Liverpool loanee has to take his place on the bench, too.

Junior Hoilett and Sheyi Ojo will flank Kieffer Moore.

No Joe Bennett or Greg Cunningham, so Joel Bagan comes in at left back.

It looks like a three in midfield with Leandro Bacuna, Joe Ralls and Will Vaulks.

Perry Ng starts at right back, no Max Watters at all after he limped out of training on Monday.

Morrison probably only played v QPR through desperation. He had been injured and if we’d had good cover (and Harris hadn’t been in dire straits) he probably wouldn’t have been rushed back. Let’s be honest, Morrison’s looked knackered for ages, taking to much on his shoulders perhaps, so easing him back is probably sensible.
Wilson hasn’t been on his game for a while and once again in normal circumstances could have been rested let’s see if he’s hungry for his place.

I'm not to sure about that back 4 but if I'm honest we don't have much better.

Lets see if Bacuna thrives in midfield with Ralls tonight.

It does look a good looking attack line though.

Hopeful for a win however I think if their front players are on form they will be to pacy for us.

To be honest don't think that is anywhere near our best team and if Harris had selected it many on here would be going wtf. But let's see if we get something from the game,if we don't I suspect McCarthy's honeymoon peroid is going to be a short one.

Do Wilson and Morrison deserve to be dropped if fit. Hoilett back though he has been very ordinary this season. Odd team.
