:bluebird: :bluebird: 'Great News for Cardiff City & better than we all thought' :bluebird: :bluebird:

Thanks to the meeting the other day between the fans and the CCFC Committee etc, which the Committee under EFL laws say they have to have so many meetings a year with the fans, just incase anyone wondered why it was called. The EFL says fans must be continually updated by the clubs owners etc :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

It came out that the streaming of every Cardiff City home game, the fans who pay £10 every game and those that have the £10 taken from their season tickets, the money goes direct and solely to our club, with hardly any expenses, so it means the revenue is not shared with anyone else :thumbright: :bluebird:

Many fans were under the perception that the club did not make any money from it.

Of course depending on how well City are doing, apparently there has been as many as 10,000 fans paying for it including coming of season ticket holders payments and as small as 5,000 fans.

So every little helps and if we get Sky live games, City get an extra £130,000 per game, so hopefully if Big Mick gets us on a winning run, more fans will pay the £10 and City get more Sky games :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Dont forget the Club shop is open and you can buy on-line.

Advertisement/ Sponsors/ merchandise / Sky money and parachute payments (Parachute payment £36mill ) this season and 1,000's of fans paying £10 (every home game) to watch the Mighty Bluebirds home games :bluebird: :bluebird:

Even Cardiff Blues are now paying to use our Stadium for their big games :thumbright:

Wales internationals all help as well :thumbright: :bluebird:

It all helps to keep our club afloat, our fans can help :bluebird: :bluebird:

As Chairman Dalman / Ken Choo said they have not made any plans yet about next seasons season tickets going on sale, but watch this space

CEO Ken Choo, said the club welcome the extra £10's and appreciate the fans paying to watch City on line and keep it going :bluebird:

Dont get me wrong its No where near as good as having 18,000 season ticket holders and say 3,000 paying fans at the gate, but its still great to see their is some income coming in to our club :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Also fans can bring their flags down to the stadium so it looks good for the players and the tv cameras :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Also five companies are involved in bidding to Sponsor Cardiff City next season :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I am trying to find out about if we get the money for the fans that pay away games as City advertising it all the time, pay £10.

Apparently we are getting between £50,000 -£100,000 every home game. Remember normal games before the virus 90% were season ticket holders.

Of course its not fantastic, but over all when you add up ALL the above, Thankfully this season with the Parachute payment on top etc etc there has been a fairly good income coming in :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

If City can start winning more, more will pay £10 every game :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Ive got an idea

Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:06 pm

What the club should do is turn on the microphone of people watching from home , then we can all shout / rant / chant etc - and the club can pipe it through the loud speakers at the stadium.

I don't think it would pass censorship laws. :laughing5:

So the club get the £10 not sky like we were told at the beginning ,well that's great ,but loads never took up the option because they thought sky were getting the money, can you pick what games you watch or does £10 get taken every home game if you watch it or not

Pick your game and spend a tenner.

Correct, every little helps . So fu.. off you grabbing bast..... .

Carry on streaming online everyone and keep your hard earned money. These robbing bas... and other football clubs are not short. Let the players subsidise your viewing pass.

Everybody should get a refund for this season and not this pro rata tv pass shafting.

It's my understanding, if you're a ST holder, that when you activate the streaming code a tenner is taken for every home game whether you tune in or not. I'm not 100% sure so may be an idea to check through the club. :bluebird:

That reminds me ,anybody got any links for the game Saturday.

Re: 'Great News for Cardiff City & better than we all though

Thu Jan 28, 2021 9:14 pm

The club gets at least 70 percent of the income from home games and although its a bit more complicated for away games they also get money for that...for instance it will be estimated we would take 400 or 500 up there last night ...our share of the £10 subscribers pay starts from subscriber 501...so a very handy income for our club during these difficult times.
Illegal streams affect this but at least the EFL have decided not to take anything from this during this Civid period.
This question was asked in tweeting between the EFL and the FSA yesterday..full minutes will be available for those that are interested...

I may have missed it but was it established that we also get all or most of the £10 if we pay for an away game through the Cardiff City official site.
