' Next 6 games '

Under Big Mick McCarphy

Now the dust has settled what are we expecting from?

Barnsley away
Millwall home
Bristol city away
Rotherham away
Coventry home
Luton away

Under Harris in the reverse fixtures

We havnt played Rotherham yet this season

We won 2
Drew 1
Lost 2
Goals for 8
Goals against 3
7 points

Take into account Big Mick has only had 3 full days
Training/ getting to know what hes working with

Just my opinion

But i would be more than happy to get 8 points

I think this is a reasonable target
As usually a new manager seems to get an uplift

I will be delighted if we get a win out of any of these fixtures.

I don't think replacing the manager would resolve anything. It had to be done but the main problem still is there and that is a number of the players. Will a new manager be the kick up the backside they need? Time will tell but I think its going to be a long slow process if it happens.

All wins....by at least 2 clear goals.

I disagree. Harris was a disaster this season and his team selection, tactics and subs were piss poor.

With the new manager bounce and a more switched on manager im predicting we will win 3 of these.

3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. 11 points :ayatollah:

3 wins
2 loses
1 draw
10 points

12 points would be promotion form .
We ATM are a long way from promotion form.
No points from the last 5 games , so I would be happy not to lose , our next game .
Then take it one game at a time.
Try to build up the confidence .

Any points that get us nearer to 50 will be most welcomed.
We have to give Mick time to work out his best players and system

I really feel a massive cloud has been lifted, players are now buzzing and our club is buzzing again :thumbright: :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I reckon 4 wins, a draw and a defeat.

13pts from 18pts :bluebird: :bluebird:

Such has been our inconsistency to date, I really don't know what to expect but would gladly take 12 points. :bluebird:

as with everyone else id like more...but think 8 is reasonable and would probably keep the relegation zone at arms length....

I think 8 or 9 is a fair ask. 3 losses isn't too bad with a managerial transition and our recent form. Even if we only got 6 points by virtue of 1 win and 3 draws I'd still be happy if we could shore up our defence and stop conceding silly goals. Only losing 2 from 6 is a hell of an improvement.

It's a decent first 6 for Mick, a nice mix of games we have a good shot at winning and games against higher opposition where a loss wouldn't be too disappointing.

Considering how the season has gone in recent months I'm surprised to be excited to watch us in action again

2 Wins , 2 Draws , 2 Losses , (one being Bristol City) He'll do as always I reckon, he shut it down at Sunderland,Wolves and Ipswich to start off with , he's a 'if you don't let goals in you can't lose a game' philosopher,if that get's sorted you'll see the wingers the SAFC and Wolves fans remembered.(me being one of them).I wish you luck but I don't think you'll need it,he seems a fit, just some patience for half a season because it won't always be pretty at times. ;)

2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats, 8 points would be OK after the way we've been playing, I think Mick will do better than that

The 6 you quoted are where City have to get 8 points at least. The games that come after Luton look even tougher..

Looking at that 8 games
The next 6 are vital to get as many points as we can
If we did get 8 and say 4 from the next eight
We would still need about 10/12 from our last 8 games
Giving us a total of 51/53 ???
