We all hope McCarthy is successful but does the club have a longer term option under consideration ?

In what way is it Marxist? Nothing wrong with Socialism in my opinion.

Didn't you know that 1 person in the entire organisation calls themselves a Marxist therefore anything related to the cause is Marxist as well. It doesn't matter that the players are taking the knee for the efl own anti racism campaigns.
Just an FYI, nuclear blue will be getting ready to call you a communist very shortly.

if McCarthy is successful he becomes the longer term surely ? ....not sure what people expect tbh...Chelsea have just sacked Lampard , United are only now beginning to look anything like they did under Fergie and these are huge clubs with huge resources... managers at most clubs tend to be 2 year giggs but there seems to be a notion here that we can be looking years into the future....

You make a good point.
We are already a club hated by many. It will be a total embarrassment if we oppose taking the knee when it is understood to be a gesture of solidarity in the face of racism.
Taking the knee isn't supporting Marxism.....does anyone think that the EPL the EFL and all the radio and tv channels would endorse it if it was a nod to Marxism!!!?
Taking the knee is a statement of solidarity against racism. Not doing it will damage our reputation further.

they did endorse it mate and one by one are attempting to drop the BLM connection . trying to make out its something else... but a 2 min search will come up with umpteen top sports figures and politicians saying the kneeling was in support of BLM... we have kick it out which does not divide but instead they are sticking with something that does divide... which makes any solidarity claims a bit empty..
