100% Neil Harris was Vincent Tans appointment and he only decided to get rid after QPR game when he actually realised we really could be in a relegation battle.
Mick McCarthy, was Dalmans idea who introduced McCarthy to Tan, to steady our sicking club.
And I never usually agree with Dalman, but I think he has got it right for this season![]()

Fair play to you Annis, you’re calling it as you see. I agree. I think a few players need a serious look at themselves and if they don’t , McCarthy will not suffer fools gladly, whoever they are.
I also think he’s in the Warnock mould and I’d imagine he’s as far away from a ‘yes’ man as you could get at the moment.

Still feels like an odd appointment because from all accounts he is quite a defensive minded manager and I thought part of the issue with Harris was that he was too defensive, not utilising the attacking players we have. -
Bit hopefully gets the bounce we need - to be fair, I’d have taken Donald Trump over Harris!

The important thing is Mick McCarthy is very experienced so will know what to expect in this division.
He has worked with virtually no money before as well and done well.

Yes I get the history bit,was just trying to say,its time to forget harris for the time being(wont be too hard for most) and concentrate on the nee man in charge?
This board needs some positivity, after the way things had been heading on field, and off to a degree(sala, mendez etc)
My views differ to yours on things, which is absolutely how it should be,otherwise why bother joining a forum in the 1st place?
One minute you say im one of the better posters, then when we dont agree on something,I never change? And go and find another forum! I will strive to avoid any topic you post, and have avoided a few, where I thought we could clash to date.

Paul,
Don’t you think I have been very positive on Big Mick?
I even had Rob Philips , Paul Abo and even a member of the City staff ring me yesterday thanking me for the positivity I was putting out on Big MICK.
How could we be positive with Harris results and dire football.
I am really excited now for the rest of the season![]()

Fair enough Annis,I'm also giving MM my full support,as with all our previous managers.I wouldnt go as far as being really exited(yet) but think it is a decent appointment, and we should definitely see an improvement, as MM certainly knows more about tacticts etc, compared to Harris!! Onwards and upwards!! C'mon city

We were free falling under Harris so let’s see if he can get Cardiff back up near the top 6. We definately have the majority of players to get there just need to be played to their strengths.

Paul,
the reason why I am really excited is, it was becoming defeat after defeat and same old speeches from Harris and football got worse.
Now its the unexpected
