Sources are suggesting Cameron Toshack, the man who conjured £68m playing talent through nurturing youth at Swansea City is in the frame for the vacant hot seat at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Toshack, the son of legendary John, who fired 100 goals for the Bluebirds prior to a £111,000 switch to Liverpool in November 1970, appears ready to hail Cardiiff off a Championship canvas.
The Welshman pushed through Wales international Daniel James, Oliver McBurnie and Joe Roden at the Liberty Stadium - the Swans holding a clutch of former students of the Weldhman in a first team that is flying toward the Premiership.
Toshack, born in the Welsh capital, narrowly missed out on the Swansea manager job to Steve Cooper - primarily through the influence of then Swans chairman Trevor Birch.
But Swansea's loss was top-flight Cypriot club Pafos' gain - Toshack completly turning around the Cyprus outfit's fortunes on the sun-soaked island.
Cameron could be joined by dad John at Cardiff - Toshack senior fulfilling a Director of Football role - utilising his contacts made at Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Real Sociedad to positive effect.
We are Toshack junior is prepared to work his managerial passage, and utilise his connections and many of the promising young Bluebirds in his quest to get Cardiff firing once more - and with a pinch of style.

He's a very well thought of coach who has been managing in Cyprus, not for long granted. He was one of the names behind Swans successful youth programme. He will get it down and play for sure. Certainly bring him in with another DoF, it's what we all bang on about. His ethos is sound.
