The new manager?

Thu Jan 21, 2021 3:57 pm

My choice would be Paul Cook as he has proved he can be successful. He has won the league with his last three clubs. He led Chesterfield to the league two title and got them to the league one playoffs next season. He was then poached by Portsmouth who he led to the league title. After that he was poached by Wigan and got them promoted to the championship as champions. Granted Wigan were relegated but they had gone into liquidation sold all their best players and had 12 points deducted and he almost kept them up.

Can't think of a manager currently available with a better record. Eddie Howe maybe but I doubt very much if he would come to us. Bellamy's name gets mentioned but no one knows if he would be a successful manager. The game is littered with grat players who were rubbish managers. It would be a risk.

Top 10 finish this season. Push for top 6 finish next season. Hardly ridiculous.
