Cardiff set to miss out on Gallagher
Cardiff City target Declan Gallagher is reportedly set to stay at Motherwell this month.
The centre-back's contract at Fir Park is up at the end of the season, although reports in Scotland have suggested that he is close to triggering an automatic extension.
Dundee United, Celtic and QPR are among the other sides to have been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old, but Scottish outlet the Daily Record claims the centre-back will now likely stay at the club, unless Motherwell receive a substantial offer in this window.
Despite the rumours, Gallagher himself said recently that he's currently focused on performing for his current employers.
“There’s been nothing at all yet," he said.
"At the end of the day, I’m sure we will speak at one point but I’m just focused on Motherwell just now.
“Whatever happens with my future happens but I’m just concentrating on getting Motherwell up the league.”
