Daily Mail - Sala not supported

Tue Jan 19, 2021 4:36 pm

I try my best to stay away from the Sala incident. Not that I don't care, it was obviously a major tragedy. I actually lived in Nantes a few years back and went to watch the football every now and then.

The reason is I have very little knowledge on the incident or the legal "Should we pay Nantes" side of things and so keep quiet.

I do find it hard to not share this however when it implies that Sala "was not looked after" by the club? Every one of his statements ended in a ? so is it fair to have mentioned him at all?

I think we got the gist as soon as you mentioned 'Daily Mail' and it is (at best) creative journalism

They're very good at bending truth but this is another opportunity for club bashing....
