Cardiff City have made their first signing of the January transfer window with the capture of striker Max Watters from Crawley Town.
South Wales rivals Swansea City had long held an interest in signing the 21-year-old, however it is understood they were unwilling to meet Crawley's asking price.
However, the Bluebirds have now swooped in a deal which could potentially be worth up to £1m if a succession of add-on clauses are fulfilled.
Neil Harris had been keen on adding a striker to the ranks in this window, with right back and centre back other areas in which he would like to bolster, and has succeeded with the addition of Watters.
