fantastic news really, hear it all the time from ex players and current, that under 23s etc are nothing, going down the leagues on loan to play against men, toughens them up and it developes them much better

Will do more for his development than the u23s. Chorley beating derby shows the difference between u23s football and real competitive football.

The better u23 players should either be in the first team squad or out on loan.
