How does that sound as. Management team at Cardiff City
Mark Bowen manager, assistant Craig Bellamy and Andy Legg U23’s
Experience / local / passion / heart / well respected in football and by the fans / not over paid and all Welsh , got to be worth a try and down to earth will keep close with our fans, bringing us all back and closer to our club
Oops I forgot
Part of the team .
Eddie Ndweizcki should be mentioned as he has cast experience with, arsenal, Chelsea, man city, blackburn, stoke amongst several other clubs.

Bowen? No need for him, the other two would be acceptable for sure.

Wow a hell of a management team there, we could only dream of

That would be a decent management team for me.
I'd love to see them all involved in some capacity. just 'gets' us and sure they would do a superb job between the playing staff and hierarchy.

Also CB would give some much more visible and audible encouragement than DL sat back chewing gum.

Not for me. Would be happy with just Bellamy.
Tue Jan 12, 2021 8:45 am
No problem with that although I think Bellamy will have to be the "manager". Firstly because I think he will want to dictate the direction and secondly it's probably the only position that would attract him back from his current job in Belgium.

I think you’re all just dreaming about Bellamy coming here. Zero chance.
Bowen, who definitely wouldn’t be my choice is much more realistic.

I’d be particularly happy if this happened:ayatollah:

Happy with Bowen
No to Bellamy..
Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:32 am
Be happy with that. Genuinely think someone of Bellamy’s character would instil so much passion in the team, something that’s been missing for far too long.

How about Russell Slade as Manager, Roy Wood as No2

yes from me.
Though a bigger yes from me would be Craig as our manager, our leader. Just like he was on the pitch, never say die with an attacking gene. Let’s get in their faces, ruffle their faces . A passion for our academy , our hometown, our nation. A good understanding of tactics, the modern footballer and will improve and push hard what goes down on the training pitch. Bellamy working with Harry Wilson yes please.
My only fear is , whoever takes over is left with Warnocks players that not even they could save his job. Player clear out isn’t as easy as it sounds.
My biggest wish is to rid ourselves of this negative football tag that’s been labelled to us since DJ left. That was the last time I consistently loved watching us play. I want the Cardiff Way to be just that, positive fluid attack minded intelligent football. It seems like a galaxy away right now. We need Tan and his cronies to be on board with that philosophy, so we need football men in that boardroom

Bowen would be a similar appointment to Harris. One previous job where he did not excel. Definite no to Bowen for me.
I’d like Bellamy to get the managers job.

This is how I could see things going.
I'll be amazed if Bellamy ever works for Tan.

Pretty much sums it up, Paul
Wouldn't object to it, as it could work but (sadly) I just can't see Craig being involved under this regime; and the thought of the other two on their own doesn't exactly inspire me. I see Bowen as a natural No.2, although he has the experience to maybe surprise us
Some appear to be dazzled by his
'Wales' links...

I'm not sure about that. Bellamy is forthright in his views but I've yet to read anything from him that you would say "he's burnt his bridges there" with regard to Tan.
He's been clever in what he's said. He might not come but I'm not sure it would be down to any issue with Tan.

My understanding was the 'issue' between the two was created after Craig was offered the 'Caretaker' job when Malky was being ousted and Craig turned it down flat whilst having his say on the whole situation
Not too sure about the interim relationship
He also said he thought he was too young and lacked coaching inexperience at that point, after which he went and did his FAW Badges (to his great credit)

So a team with very little experience between them of management at this level
Mark Bowen had less than a season at Reading and failed
Bellamy has coached a few kids
Andy legg has only managed at Parks level sides in the LOW
Not exactly a dream team and none would be mentioned for any vacancy here if they didn't have Welsh links
We need a proper manager in charge not gamble on someone because his grandmothers mother made him eligible to play for Wales or they appeared for us a few times.
Any of them as a number 2 or in the set up would be OK but we need proper experianced leadership

I can only tell you what I know.
Personally, I’d like Bellamy here.
