https://global247news.com/2021/01/09/ca ... il-harris/Cardiff City Football Club set to sack their manager Neil Harris
Championship club, Cardiff City are set to sack their current manager Neil Harris in the morning (Sunday).
Harris who lost another match this afternoon, this time in the FA Cup at Nottingham Forrest, reign seems to be over after Cardiff City directors held emergency talks whilst the team and its current manager traveled back from the City ground.
Talks are set to go into the early hours as the directors await to place their unanimous recommended decision to Club owner Vincent Tan based in Malaysia.
https://global247news.com/2021/01/09/ca ... arris/amp/According to sources, the Welsh club has actively been seeking a replacement in the last week or so, after a bad run of form under the leadership of former Millwall man, Neil Harris.
Tony Pullis is the favorite on the list according to sources to take the position after the sacking of Harris.
Harris who took over from the legendary Neil Warnock, despite leading Cardiff City to the playoffs last season has failed to muster the goods this term, whilst Club Chairman publicly stated that he wanted a ‘top six position’ after Christmas.
Fans of the club in the majority don’t appear to be in disagreement with the board – with hundreds of die, hard supporters, been calling for his head and to be replaced in the last several weeks.

If this is true and pulis is next in then god help us
Sat Jan 09, 2021 8:27 pm
Must be true.

Good news if true.
Although I'm not expecting the next manager to be any of the names banded about on here, it will be another yes man in my opinion - hope I'm wrong.

No problem with Pullis, a better version of Warnock and that worked.
Anyone other than Harris!!!!!

2 wins of playoff place and 3 loses of relegation place. Quite a precarious position to be in with a weak squad and a limited tactics manager.

About time , nigel Pearson or paul Cook probably dream appointment Eddie Howe

Tan is a billionaire m8 if he wants to make us a force in the championship he's got the funds to do it
Sat Jan 09, 2021 8:57 pm
For once, an interesting read form Daya, who has unearthed a story that ties in with what some of us have been told in recent weeks, i.e, before Christmas
Along with one or two others, I've been saying
'Watch this space...!" and it seems the time is nearly upon us with the new man (and a spare) already sounded out
Nothing overly ITK in this; Neil Harris precarious position has been discussed 'at the top' for some time now

Just dont see Pulis as offering anything new and progressive. Hes probably attractive to the board cos hes currently without a club, but a long term appointment - no thanks.

Chris,
I’m aware that something will be sorted soon if not they would wait until Norwich match. That would waste a week of the transfer window in my opinion.
I feel sorry for NH but he’s brought some of it on himself.
I know the names in the hat hopefully the right one comes in.

Just a hobby for Tan, now he's bored he wants to cut his losses and run as soon as he can.

Nigel Pearson will be my choice but don't think it will happen.
They'll go with another manager who they can get to trim down the squad and have virtually no money to spend.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 10:43 pm
Bellamy, Pullis or Pearson in that order.

They did a good job with Warnock so might surprise us.
