Wriggle room

Tue Jan 05, 2021 4:17 pm

Well its the transfer window! But City have hardly any money to spend (along with most other clubs) and its a transfer window overshadowed by Covid. So NH has very little WRIGGLE ROOM. Its gonna be a very quiet window.
At best he will need to swap a couple of players for a couple of others.
(It looks now like Flint wont be one of them!).
So can you name 2 players who we could offload to bring in some money and reduce wages. ie players in or around the first team which other teams might consider. And maybe 2 part ex players to come in.??? :bluebird:

Personally I’d be happy to let Marlon Pack go — if there is a club looking for an ultra defensive midfield player. Id be happy to take almost any younger more athletic midfileder as an alternative.
My other more reluctant choice would be Robert Glatzel if we could recoup most of the fee we spent on him. He is a likeable player but never looks like going on a scoring spree and rarely gets goalscoring chances. He is not a natural header of the ball doesnt really hold the ball up well.
But who would Harris get who is better without spending more on them. (Maybe WBA would give us a straight swap Zahore for Glatzel!! :P )

Just watched City v Notts Forest. Still think get rid of Pack and Glatzel.
I have no doubt they would hardly be missed and it would allow us to look for a creative midfielder who could make a big difference for us.

Glatzel almost never seems to get on the end of any balls into the box. He was woeful today. Ans I have never been a fan of Marlon Pack. :bluebird:
