Football could be suspended tonight

With Boris about to close England for a month, will the FA have any option other to suspend football for a month?

Why would they?
Football is keeping everyone who is in lockdown happy. And there is ALOT of cash from broadcasters, leagues and players wages who rely on matches being put on. So if they pause the football then certain teams in the Championship, League 1 AND League 2 could be gone altogether due to the lack of funds at lower level.

Sky in a Boris way now stating football is still going on together with other elite sport.

Premier League and the EFL (who make the decision, not the FA), believe they have the necessary testing and safety protocols in place to carry on.

My view is there should be a two week circuit breaker this month with no football, but I can't see it happening anymore.


But if there continue to be headlines of footballers breaking the rules, then there may be a rethink.
