It looks like yesterday Preston were able to play their game and yet Rotherham seemed to be very content to have their game called off without making any effort to get it on.

Does the Rotherham pitch have undersoil heating?
I know it's a relatively new stadium so probably should have but perhaps like when we had a game postponed a few years ago at CCS (Leicester maybe?) where Ridsdale couldn't even find 50p to put in the meter for our heating to be used.
At least we hadn't travelled all the way there and then faced a four hour trip home following the game being called off.
And at least we could see some snow on the pitch which was a bit different from Derbygate a few years ago!

Rotherham are a club with small money and the club facilities are not like the rest of the championship. Im sure if the club had similar facilities to teams like Preston they would play the game. Not Rotherham's fault just there facilities are ill equipped for winter weather.

West Brom also had a lot of snow on their pitch last night but it went ahead.
