I don’t know if you know . Through the Premiere League clubs in the - due to COVID 19 - Championship are being offered £8 million which they can return in 3 years.
It’s interesting free.
Only one condition is that the owner has to guarantee the payment. It will be interesting what we will do ?
Is Tan here for the future or is he leaving as soon as he can sell up?
As to our debt we already have thanks to Tan, personally he needs to get that down to less than when he arrived 11yrs ago.

If we don't end it we shouldn't take it . The club taking it has no bearing on Tans future commitment at all.
These funds so should be used solely for paying wages and bills. Its not fair if clubs take it whilst struggling and splash it on players to get promoted whilst clubs on a sound financial footing are left behind

We brushed on this before and my view was 'Why would we, when the owner is trying to get the debt down to zero?'
It's not that the club's owner is not able to manage the budget as it stands and it would just increase debt for the future, which is not good
We are lucky as a club to have an owner that can somewhat absorb the issues of the current pandemic and adding to existing/remaining debt should not be a priority right now (no matter whether interest-free or not)

Tan will take the £8 Million tomorrow and pay it back next week in the Jan Transfer window.....

Some teams may take the gamble to strengthen in transfer window to make play offs or automatic putting more pressure on the manager and team to succeed. In the end only 3 go up so could break a few clubs if they take the gamble
