Do you miss watching cardiff city live or has not going made you appreciate other things in life.

Absolutely miss the special matchday build up. The atmosphere and anticipation and sharing it with thousands of like minded :bluebird: fans.

For years the missus has dropped me and a few others at the ground then cheerfully driven into the city centre to spend a few hours and much more than a few pounds shopping to her little hearts content. A perfect day out for us both.

Since no live footie I've been advised to spend the day with her shopping to her little hearts content. Anyone remember the game Buckeroo?

I've carried more stuff around Cardiff city centre than sherpa Tensing lugged up Everest.

Appreciate other things? No.

Haven't missed the garbage they've served up so far this season hopefully it improves when we get back.

A bit of both but I do miss the 'buzz' of the match day experience; meeting friends before the game, the food (outside the stadium), the atmosphere and 'craic' inside, as well as the elation of a Bluebird 'live' goal

On the flip, I don't miss the trudge to and from the stadium, finding a parking space, the cold/rain and the style of football we play in recent times; although a win tends to dampen that, whilst a loss (and even a draw at home) makes it an even poorer experience

Have to say, looking forward to going back though, if it means life is returning to some normality :ayatollah:

I've missed it more than I ever would have imagined.

Home games were a weekend away back in the country I love, visiting Mum, seeing my little Bro and meeting up with very dear friends, for a Saturday afternoon of socialising, eager anticipation (curbed by fear of losing) and a debrief followed by a large donner.

Away games were mostly a train ride of 2-4 hours with fellow City fans I've met down here on the South Coast, but equally socialising, meeting mates at the Town/City in question and just having a great time.

Quite honestly the only thing that spoiled these moments was 90 minutes of football if we lost. If we won the whole of the next week was going to be rosey. :bluebird:

Not really.. if we played decent football I would have, but the last 3/4 years, it’s been painful hoofball, and isn’t how I thought football should be played growing up..

They still manage to ruin my day But Now it just means I don't spend £25 on a ticket in the process. Id be back down there tomorrow though if possible despite how shit its been this season. Taking the rough with the smooth is part of being a proper fan. I dont particularly miss watching the actual football, but I've barely seen family and friends this year who I'd usually have a couple of drinks with before a game. That's what I miss.
