Neil Harris Not The Answer -Ryan Giggs Cardiff Born Winner

Sat Dec 26, 2020 10:57 pm

Defeats to Swansea Norwich Brentford have revealed shortcomings in the management of Neil Harris - as many suspected when he took over the change from legendary Neil Warnock to Neil Harris retained the long ball style game - long throw ins and so on as I have said on previous posts the game has moved on from these styles contact sport style is diminishing - the game is pass move play ball on the grass - referees blow whistles and the game plan is limited - Harris saying these clubs are bigger than Cardiff City is ridiculous and defeatist - The temptation is Slaven Bilic but he may also fall short on the new required route to success - Klopp has proved a high pressing game can even defeat passing teams but we must make the leap - Ryan Giggs must be approached he has done a fantastic job with Wales is Cardiff born and if the Welsh FA are foolish enough to sack him Cardiff must be there ready

"Giggs from Cardiff..." is a little tenuous and although the place of his birth, he was raised in Salford (not in Wales last time I looked) and his loyalties lie there...

May not have played for England but never underestimate Giggs propensity to look after himself first, last and foremost; and any 'link' to Cardiff City would be mercenary and not heart-felt

Now Craig Bellamy would be a different kettle of fish (IMHO, of course) :ayatollah:

I guess so; but no one should deceive themselves that Giggs is 'Welsh' in the broadest term of the word :thumbright:

Wanted Bellamy to take Wales over and same choice for City going forward; I believe he is the right choice :ayatollah:

Chris, Bellamy for me as well, no way Giggs. having said that I think Bellamy would need an experienced second in command to assist.
Hope you had a good xmas, and you and your family have a good 2021  :ayatollah:

Have to say im with you on this,no way giggs!! And bellers would definitely need an experienced head around him,my only real concern would be around his temperament? Has had plenty of fallings out in his career, hopefully he has matured some,as he could fall out with player/s,and thats never a good scenario imho.

Happy new year all!

Thanks lads - Giggs is 47 ! He is experienced in football- He has managed Wales superbly- Proven himself with young players huge connections in the game- I like Craig Bellamy if he gets on with Giggs he could be his number 2 !
