Remember him for being a decent goal poacher as well as having ability.
A classic headed goal at the Vetch Field, one of the comeback goals in the 3-3 draw with them plus a classic hat-trick v Wrexham in the Welsh Cup (right foot, left foot and a header)
Looking forward to reading his book.

Excellent championship player, probably would have benfited from the new offside rule being around at the time.

Caught offside a few times

I remember watching him and Gary Stevens as our front two and they generally were a handful for the defences we were playing against.

Strangely I have no recollection of the goal that night. The tube ride back to Paddington that night to get the special is etched in my memory though. If they'd fully opened the doors at Earls Court we'd have been massacred.

I went on a coach full of Llanrumney lads and walking back to the coaches, Chelsea were everywhere and if it was not for the massive police presence, we would of been massacred as well

My abiding memory of him is scoring what we thought was a consolation goal with 2 minutes left against Swansea on Boxing day to make it 2-3. And the we got a free kick seconds after the restart and the rest is history!
