:thumbright: This. Complete non story.

Bringing in the army is hardly the fuss some people make it out to be, they're constantly being used for non military action. Floodings, fires, evacuations, the Olympics, testing centres, major political events etc. It's a massive "ready to go" group of people that can be mobilised without the need to hire or use personnel companies.

Testing, policing the streets , medical back up , enforcing rules and basically helping out wherever needed

Blocking roads to prevent people exiting and entering locked down areas would be useful aswell

Civil disorder you mean, God help us that its should ever get to that stage but Operation Rescript was created earlier this year where around 20,000 military personnel were mobilised to help support public services in the UK and continue to assist wherever required .

They'll be treating people in the car park as all the beds will be full!

Welsh Labours NHS is a joke and they are expecting to run out of beds in January, especially after the Christmas Super Spreader Event.

Most staff are off because of having to
self isolate like police & nurses ! Unfortunately lot are off without covid but due to having close contact with people who've had covid they need to self isolate... they are rolling out home self testing so that they can continue working if negative test! Otherwise run out of staff in work.....
I'm waiting for my testing kit to arrive

Christmas Day, it spreads more prolifically indoors, especially if everyone is sat close together around a table, having a good laugh, and even better if people are getting pissed
