QPR U23s will go in search of victory in Professional Development League 2 South when they visit Cardiff City on Tuesday (1pm GMT kick-off).

For what will be their final match before the annual Christmas break, Paul Hall’s young team will be determined to build on their recent wins against Swansea City and Bristol City.

Those two successes have lifted the R’s up to fifth in PDL2 and, in Cardiff, Rangers will face the team who currently prop up the table.

The Bluebirds have picked up four points from their opening nine fixtures of the season and, last time out, they earned a 2-2 draw away at Watford.

Tuesday’s U23s fixture will be contested behind closed doors at Leckwith Stadium.
