Love NW but something went wrong with his spending on mediocrity and he scarpered before the deserved bullet.

Are you sure? Or are they grinding out results ? If they are playing "great football" then why at Boro & not here? Are their players that much better than ours or did he just lose them here?

Don't get me wrong I like Warnock and wish him well but he was not the same person when he left as he was when he arrived.

Boro' are actually playing some good stuff; but they have the players, many from previous management regimes that didn't do so well as a group, and Neil Warnock and his capable team have turned them around and into an effective team with a couple of smart additions

Only what he did here (and at other clubs) so well and has yet again got his group working for him

Well done to him, I say. I wasn't one criticising or demanding he leave last season only to be replaced by the Sourcerers Apprentice; but I do think he made a mistake stating that would be his last season (in football not at our club, I recall)

And I agree with blue lagoon's comment above that before he went, he sensed the change of so many towards him in the weeks before and in the end, we sort of got what we deserved...

We of little faith at the CCS, yet again!

Wasn't it 4-1 at the end, with a couple of mistakes from etheridge, including an own goal? Contrary to the belief of some,I admired what warnock achieved, uniting us again, and of course achieved promotion, this is his forte, taking clubs down on their knees, and getting them working hard,as a unit, and it's working again for him.
I'm not sure it was the fans that eventually got him leaving,it was the defeats in the derby with b.city, and the jacks, when this board went into its usual meltdown, surely a man of his experience would understand the fans having a pop?? Ad it was mainly vented on here, not at the ground, and not to him directly imho.

It seemed he had wrung every last drop out of the squad, realised he couldn't turn it around, and went, but as they say,it's no good crying over spilt milk,we are where we are (which isn't a disastrous position)we have players injured, that would improve the team,if we add a couple,or three in January's window,we could still get into the play offs,as that's where I believe we should be aiming for,if we get close to top two towards the end,as we know, there are surprisingly strange results at the business end of a full championship season, take the jacks last year, sneaking in on last day.onwards and upwards I say  :old: :bluebird:
