After last night Pack as to play , I know people say he's slow etc.
But he very rarely loses the ball , also he's commanding and a calming influence in midfield.
I agree with you 5 across midfield , but which 5 ?

Think there's a massive over reaction with nelson being dropped for benkovic just cos hes new player, hes back up end of.
Play cunningham (or other way round)in front of bennet as ojo hasn't helped him at all last couple of games & purely to deal with max Aarons at rb who will be playing like a winger

3 in middle think we need to grind out the midfield and be bit more defensive minded and hit em on the break.

Sorry mate I thought he was completely ineffective. Probably due a bit to lack of game time tbf. He’d be first on my list to go. All opinions though.

Wouldn't normally go for Whyte but ne and Bagan should have the pace and energy to defend that left side which was awful last night.

Similarly Hoilett in to protect Bacuna. This is a game we would be happy to draw so 5 in midfield a must and when we have the ball Wilson can push on to get closer to Glatzel.

I'll be glad when Osei-Tutu is back so we can get Bacuna back in midfield.

Can Nelson play a right-back? Seem to remember reading that. Put him on the right Benkovic in the centre and rest Bacuna who has covered a lot of yards of late. I'd rest Bennet for Cunningham as well for the same reason. Cunningham was one of the best full-backs in the championship before we signed him. Why have two quality players in one position if you are not going to rotate.

Ralls should be rested and Vaulks I thought did OK and Pack doesn't deserve to be dropped after a decent game.

Ojo needs to be dropped after a few poor performances. Bring murphy in from the start with Hoilett in the wings. Wilson and Glatzel again both deserve to keep their places.

So I'd go 4-3-3 and go at them from the off. No point showing them too much respect and sitting back, the best chance of getting them a result is getting them rattled and getting our noses in front.

Bringing Bacuna on for Murphy and Hoilett on for Wilson (who has also played a lot of football lately) and bringing Harris on for Glatzel as his work rate is very good, will chase everything and will give us a decent a outlet.

As much as I’d love to see that side I see no way on earth that Harris would make that many changes

His ‘tackle’ attempt for Birmingham’s second really had to be seen to be believed. Those who suggest Bennet to RB and Cunningham to LB take note.

If Benkovic was any good he'd be in the side by now.

Love Bamba but this is not the game to bring him into, he can't be match fit and up against one of the quickest attacking sides in the league his old legs wouldn't cope.
