He was useless under Warnock and is equally inept under Harris. Get rid as soon as someone is daft enough to give us some money for him.

I really wanted Murphy to come good and every time Warnock/Harris played him I would think "This is his chance, time to shine!" but he never did.

Agreed. How many "last chances" does he need to prove himself ? He'll be 26 in February, if he's not proved himself by now (particularly at Championship level) you really have to questiion whether it will ever happen.

A flash of genius every 10 games simply isn't going to cut it. I'm sure he would have been sold by now if it wasn't for the wages he's now come to expect.

69 games for us with 8 goals and just 6 assists is simply not £10m well spent, no matter how you dress it up !! Wilson can't be far off that rate in less than half a season and could have been bought for £12m in the summer

He's just rubbish, he doesn't seem to have the bottle to go out and do it week in week out, it's a shame you can see he has the talent, just not the bollocks.

Not sure Benkovic will go back, although your thread last night was expanded on today

Pretty positive Wilson won't go back and don't really see how he is 'wasted'; although I do think he could/should be better utilised

He scored 8 goals last season and 3 in the Premier League that’s 11 in total and he’s certainly had more than 6 assists? But he certainly doesn’t suit our managers style like Bobby Reid who is now top scorer for Fulham playing in midfield and is probably worth £20m now! Wouldn’t be surprised if someone takes a punt on Murphy and he’ll be a success like Reid!
