Breaking: Kieffer Moore out for at least six games with a hamstring injury. Another crushing injury blow for the Bluebirds
Kieffer Moore update?
Kieffer will be out for a period of time. He has got a hamstring strain from the effort on goal.
At first I thought it was a cramp in the hamstring and just disappointment he didn’t score.
He has got a tear in his hamstring and will be out until the new year.

NEIL HARRIS:
A blow…
Of course. He has been in great form this season. He has been pivotal to the four-game winning run we had.
But it becomes an opportunity for someone else, like Robert Glatzel, he has made an impact off the bench in recent weeks.
I’m sure he will be delighted to get the opportunity.
We have a few other knocks and bruises. Junior Hoilett has had an injury, so.
It’s up to others to step in and prove their qualities.

Have to change it up now?
Yeah, it’s difficult. If we could all manage with hindsight there would never be a change of manager because we would all be successful!
People should be champing at the bit to make a mark and they have got a quick chance to do that on Wednesday.

Kieffer’s injury, fatigue? Or just one of those things?
NEIL HARRIS:
It’s probably a cross between the two. For Kieffer, we are not just talking about an individual who has played five games in 14 days, because the rest of the team has.
You have to think about the international break. The backlog. It’s happened to every club in this crazy schedule.
I am gutted to lose him but it is what it is. That’s the schedule and run of games, he tried to backheel the ball into the net, if he turns and shoots he probably scores.
Just the movement of the backheel has triggered the hamstring.

Extremely bad news.
Not entirely surprising because it did look like a bad injury.
Part of the problem is Harris made the same eleven players start five games within a very short space of time to save his job - we are lucky more of them haven't been injured during this period.
But as Harris says, this a chance for Robert Glatzel and Mark Harris to prove themselves.
If they don't do the job now, then the manager will know they can't be relied upon in the future so he can look to let them go and replace them.

Ouch!
It was a pretty innocuous looking injury and would have gone down as a'classic' had he scored like that
Wish him well in his recovery and hope those who replace him (likely Robert Glatzel) have learned from watching him and take up his goal-scoring habits
Good luck and come back soon, Keiffer Moore

A blow for sure, but he was looking slightly jaded in the game, before his injury, and I agree the turnsround time for him personally was v.short, and this can happen, especially the way he puts in a shift! Still as you say sven, a chance for RG to show us his worth, harris has said he is the best finisher he has plsyed or worked with,so lets supply him with the chsnces, and hopefully he will bang em in!! Sometimes an injury to a player opens a door for someone else to shine, smithies comes to mind of late.onwards and upwards,c'mon city!!!!

Gives Vassell a real opportunity to show what he can do.

Is this unfortunate or could Harris have protected and rested his star player? Either way I think a difficult period in to Christmas now beckons even though Glatzel has been decent recently. I never want to see my team lose but frankly if a poor run of games means the end of Harris then so be it. We are going no where this season and thankfully should have enough points to see us in to mid table obscurity.

Bit of a cop out there, never want us to lose, but t would be acceptable to get rid of the manager? I never want us to lose, for ANY reason!! Regardless of my personal feelings!!

Agree

For that exact reason I could also never bet on us to lose, even when I think we probably will.
