Club MUST make a statement

Given the gravity of the allegaions made in the press today, whether the allegations are true or not, surely, surely the club has to make some sort of statement today. Even though it is Sunday someone must issue some sort of press release.

They have taken in excess of £3,500,000 from the supporters of the club - these people deserve some comment from the club even if it is not to tell them what they want to hear.

Lies? Even directors have duties and the lawyers will be advising them accordingly when any statement of such importance is issued.

The longer there is silence from the club/ the chairman, the greater is the likelihood that the press story is correct.
