I am afraid it has. I no longer can associate with the club or the players. Maybe its not going to the games or maybe the disconnect is something deeper.

Its a good question, perhaps this is what it's like for the premier league big club "fans". You read the forums, see the games on the TV, pundits talk cliches without ever really seeing you week in week out.

I was out in the morning yesterday. Waltz'd in at 12:28, didn't know the subs or the Swansea team sheet. Made a cuppa then shouted obscenities at the TV in my centrally heated room. 10 mins after the game finished i was out with my Mrs who said "i guess it never went well" and we went about the day until early evening, not even a thought about the game.

There was little commitment. I am not overly invested. If there was no restrictions my day would have revolved around 12:30.

I have a few Jack work colleagues, so I am fully expecting all that comes tomorrow, other than that i am very calm and detached. I hope my "passun" returns.

If you are referring to the thread on here it doesn't say does it matter if we beat Swansea it's says is it important if we beat Swansea.

Two completely different questions but both have the same answer really which is no.

What's important is that you win as many games in a season as possible, does it matter or is it more important who those games come against, well no not really.

I would take two defeats against Swansea this season in exchange for promotion, that's what is important, Football Teams win and lose games, that's the nature of the beast.

Know how you feel. Last year it would probably have been the first thing on my mind when i woke up this morning. Cant say i even thought about it today until now

Beating Swansea is great, as long as we don’t adopt a narrow minded mentality like the Welsh rugby team years ago who were so obsessed with beating England that the other results seemed to become not as important. Beforehand, I’d have taken 4 wins from 5 (12 points) and a loss to Swansea, over 1 win from 5 (3 points) and a victory over our western based rivals.

Personally, the satisfaction of watching Cardiff win, far outweighs the feeling when Swansea lose as I have zero affiliation with them and off the back of 4 wins out of 5, I’m confident we can bounce back for a play off push. It’s worth remembering that Swansea are a very good side.

I’m a bigger Cardiff supporter than I am a Swansea hater, although yesterday’s loss did hurt more than any other this season.
