Both were missing from team today.
Also, team set up was wrong.
For me, a new spark was needed in midfield and out wide.
Hindsight is an amazing thing; 3 points it has to be on Wednesday.

This week, after 51 years the zodiac killer's code has finally been deciphered. Hopefully now the code breakers can turn their attention to this post and work out what this mess means

I do not think any of that was missing from the players, we have a honest squad with maybe the exception of Josh and there is something we don't know (IMO) going on there.
We were out coached, they imposed their game on us and not the other way around.
10 crosses to their 17 and we have a man mountain target man tells you we went vertical far to often. Watch the game again if you dare abd tell me Ojo is a happy left winger if the fullback has any pace. Wilson drifts infield. There was no outlet except straight down the crowded middle.
We didn't give the players an opportunity to shine and that lays at the managers door.

We were simply out classed by better players . Saying players lack heart is sometimes a kop out for a more simpler explanation.

I was checking if i picked 11 vs 11 school ground rules, all line up on the wall and two captain pick a team who i'd pick.
I don't really know their players except Awey, Robert and Bennett so had to do a little research, then it hit me. they done us big time. 5 defender, 3 central midfielders and two up top. Against our static 442. No wonder the midfield was swamped.
1-0 to Cooper.
When i looked i'd pick
Woodman - no
Bidwell-Bout the same as Bennett
Naughton - Better than Bacuna yes
Bennett - No (Morrison)
Guehi - Better than Nelson yes
Roberts - Cheat they played with two full backs
Smith - I'd take Ralls
Fulton - I'd take Vaulks
Grimes -
Ayew - i'd pick Wilson
Lowe - I d pick moore

Harris just seems incapable of setting up his team for certain games that need a different approach.
I said to my mate before the game if we don’t match their 5 in midfield we won’t get a sniff That’s what happened.
I’m no footballing genius and Harris should have adapted, 4 wins in a row or not.
Simple, play Morrison, Nelson and the new guy or Bamba at the back.
Play Bennett one wing back, Ojo the other side. Then a middle three of Pack, Bacuna and Wilson with Moore up top.
That allows our most dangerous players, Wilson and Moore, to be more involved.
I worry the Harris just seems to change after a bad result and not be proactive and could prove costly for us and him unless that changes. I like the guy but I am losing confidence in his ability to affect the big games e.g. first playoff semi, yesterday, Bristol, etc.

Its pretty much how i see it although i have always been sceptical of his managerial ability.
Any guy who has spent his adult life in professional football and has a degree of intelligence and drive should be able to manage the first team. What you pay the big buck for is the difference makers.
Harris was a Millwall legend, he was gifted the manager position due to that status after a stint in the pointless U23 teams. He got them promoted from L1 but for a club that doesn't have our year on year ambitions they didn't think he could take it on from there......Alarm bells. He didn't drop to L1 or L2 or overseas to get some achievements and build his CV, he somehow got the city job.
I am sure if he was given Malkys funds in today's money, he'd do a decent enough job, but that's not our strategy anymore.
He is not a difference maker, he doesn't possess that "x" factor.
I wouldn't sack him unless we have a top replacement lined up, which i doubt we would. I think we'll have enough winning streaks to be safe and flirt with the idea of playoff, but he needs to go at the end of the season.
All very Russell Slade like. A journeyman. He knows more than me or you, but not enough against peers.

I’m interested in your thoughts on Josh? My thoughts are that he hasn’t wanted to play for us for the last two seasons now,,, infact it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s even put in a transfer request some time back???
Just my thoughts!

I ve long thought our manager can't handle the big awkward games so yes couldn't agree more.
I feel for poor Wilson he must wonder where he s come to ,how can we not utilise a talented guy like that , shameful

I think the passion and desire was missing as we cannot afford to continually play the same 11 players, twice a week.
I simply think a few of them were 'burnt out' especially in midfield, where we need more bite.
It's down to the manager to work this out and who to bring in to freshen up the side and who to rest.
This appears to be something Steve Cooper is getting right and Neil Harris needs to work on.
