Quantum theory, International football. It's a toss up..

Should political reasons keep apart any countries? My thought is that politics should be kept out of sport, and especially the world game of football which is played practically world wide.

Yeah let's break off international relations with any country above us in rankings

probably didnt cross Drakefords mind mate... breaking of diplomatic relations with a bunch of people he is never likely to meet is small potatoes when youve broken off diplomatic relations with your own population.. and most of those pot 1 countries serve alcohol ....

That is a tough group for Wales
Couldn't really get any tougher as we got the number 1 ranked team in the world , and arguably the best teams from pot 3 and 5.
Estonia will be a very hard game
England got it easy again

England get a bye
Wales have 2 countries moved into our group on political grounds.

I can see a couple of Welsh wins by 2 clear goals

Agree.
Only way it could have been worse is if we had Bosnia - which we would have done if they hadn't had restrictions on who can go in each group.

They will be more worried about us than we should be about them. Last 3 games, 0-0,1-0,3-1

Not easy but not impossible. Don't forget we are already guaranteed a play off place due to our UEFA Nations League efforts, s0 we are effectively have nothing but first place to play for.

more or less guaranteed...its really unlikely 2 of the countries ahead of us will screw up that badly but could happen...

You saying wales are behind 2 other countries for the 2 playoff places from nations league? If so who are they?

League A winners get priority.
So unless two or more of Belgium, Italy, France and Spain fail to finish in the top two, we will be in the play-offs at least.
Extremely unlikely that will happen, which is why I would say we are practically guaranteed to be in the play-offs.

That was my take on it needed silly results to go against us to fail to get play off spot! We were by far best group winners from any group..
