Never thought I’d say it but well done Millwall for booing the players BLM protest before their game. Hopefully it spreads to all grounds.

Disgusting..
if they’ have a problem with players thanking the knee then that’s their choice, however, to boo is not acceptable.. disgusting
Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:26 pm
About time they packed all that nonsense in..
Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:29 pm
Brilliant. Bending the knee would not have lasted long if fans had been present - especially fans who know about the rioting and violence BLM supporters have been inflicting on people in the US.

What should they do to vent their displeasure?
Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:33 pm
The issue is, booing has no context.
Those hearing it can decide what they think the booing means and it will only be seen as racism.
Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:38 pm
Bending the knee has had its day well done Millwall supporters for booing it.
Clinton Morrison having a go on Sky. He’s an idiot who can’t even string a sentence in English correctly. It’s going to happen at more grounds as they open up.
Does my head in when I read about celebrities saying dangerous criminals shouldn’t be sent back to Jamaica etc. What about the families who have had people killed!!!
Get Morrison off and the other bloke

Why is that inevitable, then?
Because their going against the trend?
They're Millwall supporters?
Their views don't count in a supposedly 'free speech' society?
Interested in your response, as I am neither for or against BLM and the 'knee'; but I am against the 'arm pump' bit and its historic connotations
Saw this on FB earlier and it makes more sense than picking a side...

The Black lives matter organisation is a racist left-wing Marxist group. Their agenda is written in plain English on their website. Thats what is being booed , and rightly so

The supporters were booing for going down on their knees it’s not racism. Just said it was small minority? Sounded like all of them. About time they stopped the knee better ways to stamp out racism.

Well done Millwall?
For what?
Jeering your own players?
The players are entitled to demonstrate against something that they feel is wrong in society.
It's 2020 for fucks sake and racism needs to be eradicated and people need to know it is unacceptable.
Top class sports people highlighting that racism is unacceptable, is the quickest and most effective way in getting the message out there to the general public.
Why would people think it is right that high profile sports people highlighting what is obviously a problem, by jeering them?
It is my understanding that each team discuss what action should be taken before each game then convey their decision to the match officials and safety officers.
If they think their players are in the wrong before they kick off, why bother going to support them?
What is more important eradicating racism or winning a football match?
Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:54 pm
People have to make a stand against the Woke culture that threatens free speech and Millwall supporters have done just that. Not agreeing with bending the knee may be seen as racism, but it isn't. If some people see it that way, then that's their problem. Antifa will brand as 'fascist' anyone who simply disagrees with them - but that does not make such people fascists: just as Brexiteers are not racists.

As we are importing the whole thing from the US, I believe the socially acceptable way of showing displeasure in 2020 is to loot and burn down the local neighbourhood.
This would be much more civilised form of mostly peaceful protest compared to the barbaric practice of booing which belongs firmly in the past and is clearly an oppressive tool of both whiteness and the patriarchy.
I'm not sure which one you are Tony, but your definitely a something-ist for asking.

Well done to the fans. The whole Black Lives Matter movement have gone on long enough and you just have to accept that no matter how much the media shove it into british society on the TV not EVERYONE will accept it. The organisation is associated with violence and harm to others and thats the reason why no one will accept the movement.
I believe West Ham fans booed as well so be interesting what it sounds like on Match Of The Day later.

What makes you believe that racism is obviously a problem in the UK Spike?
The statistics don't back that up as has been covered on here number of times and everytime we here examples of systemic or institutional racism it is blown out of the water and proven not to be so.
The UK, in 2020 is one of the least racist places to have existed in the entirety of known history. So where is the obvious racism that I'm missing?

That's a stadium closed and points deduction.
We had 5 black players in the squad today,
If this happened at the CCS.The black players could walk.
Our club could be in serious trouble.
I would be happy for our stadium to close and a points deduction.
All lives matter but some lives matter more than most.
Don't forgot the black shirts came from the Millwall area.Facists.Traitors in the second world war.

I have no problem with anyone showing support of black people and the discrimination they apparently face . ( i believe they face some in this country but not to the level specified )
The issue i have with it and the main issue here is the slogan " Black live Matter " and the black superiority fist pump used by some of the players.
Black lives matter group are are highly racist black superiority political group. Football needs a new slogan to deal with this and move away from this group. As for the black fist pump that to me massively racist and makes the claim people want equality laughable.
Millwall fans had every right to show there displeasure over a political statement during a football game.
If they took the knee under the slogan like " Equality matters " and banned the fist pump i think everybody would support it and in fact most of the ground would join in.

Can’t agree with you!
How many players would take the knee if they had a choice? Most of them are like sheep and go down to avoid problems. Clenching your fist and putting in the air has racist connotations of its own.
West Ham’s crowd reacted in that game.
The FA now need to withdraw going to the knee to avoid further problems which will happen.
Maybe people have just had enough of it being rammed down their throats.

Is the black superiority fist pump racist and is it acceptable to use it in a sporting arena ?
Is it acceptable to express free speech if its done in a racist manner against white people
