The people who have been starved of football such as the diehard fans who go to every game are already the core season ticket base and will all buy ST's as usual. Then you get the fans who go to 10-15 games a season who buy ST's, I imagine most of those will buy ST's but I'm sure there will be a few who've realised that they've actually not missed the football that much or think there's better things to spend a few hundred quid on. New hobbies, etc, they've picked up during lockdown. I can see a few of these people deciding to buy on a game by game basis instead. On the flipside I imagine there will be a few walkups who've missed football who decide to splash out on a ST so will balance out the two groups.
Unless the club do something remarkably cheap, £150 adults and £75 children, I can only see it being the usual number of Championship ST sales.

I dunno. Airfix models, DIY, gardening, maybe someone found an old acoustic guitar in the attic and wants to spend a couple hundred quid on an amp and electric. Is it that hard to imagine after months of staying indoors, then months of limited things to do people have picked up other things they enjoy?

I mean, that's not really what I said is it. After months of not going to live football people might've realised they have other interests they want to pursue, interests which don't cost several hundred pounds. After watching it on Cardiff TV round a mates house maybe now some might be thinking that instead of going to 20 games a season they're happy skipping a few and going on a match by match basis.
You also need to consider the financial impact the past few months have had on a large chunk of the population. A season ticket is an expensive commitment, especially if there's more than one in a family who gets one.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong and our season ticket sales will skyrocket, but unless we're in the Premier League I don't see our sales being anything spectacular compared to our recent Championship sale numbers.

Good marker is how many will be bought if no deals on pricing? Think sold in region of 12k this season most would have kept it for next season and not got refund or did but simply buy new one next season... only thing is run risk losing seat if we get promoted..... but I'm with you there are people who've found something else to do and have got ways to watch on internet .... I have not missed going at all ....

Everyone i know is itching to get back down the CCS and for an away day. Not sure how season tickets sales would be effected but I think there would be much bigger walk-up crowds and away tickets for any game would be like goldust-when we are finally able to travel. There will probably be restrictions on crowds for a while though so not sure we'll ever know, unless full capacity is available next season. Cant see it though. Definitely not for the start of the 21/22 season anyway.
If you havnt missed going to the football at all, why are spending 100's of pounds on season tickets? You can't enjoy it that much if you haven't missed it?lol. Its not just the football for me, its the social side of it I miss as well.
