‘ Filip Benkovic ‘

Wed Dec 02, 2020 9:11 am

Filip Benkovic missed last night through illness, for those wondering. Club have an in-house game today and they were hoping Benkovic would play, but he won't be able to now.

Still yet to start after nearly two months since he signed.

Thankfully not injured.

Hopefully well to make the bench this Saturday away to Watford.

That’s great news if we are not careful Leicester will take him back in January.

Nothing against Bamba but we’d be better off with this lad.

Annis, who do you drop though to give Benkovic a starting position (i doubt we would keep him on the bench all season, he was superb for bristol city if i am correct)

i'd push nelson to right back, get bacuna back in midfield, and give that a try

Was wondering why Harris did not bring him on against Luton and Huddersfield after we were 3-0 up for a run out. Agree with the idea of trying Nelson at right back and playing Benkovic though you can understand why he doesn't want to break up a winning partnership.
