As one owner put it hes turned us into a coffee shop! supermarkets are going to do a roaring in beers. With lots of pubs closed permanently as a result of this .

The Billy in Barry hasn’t opened since March. It a free house and while I’m sure the owners aren’t short of cash that’s a long time for any business without any cash coming in. They were looking to open for the Christmas period but that’s been stopped now and probably won’t get any financial help from government.

Oh wait. We didn’t. Carwyn was leader when they were elected. Drakeford just waltzed in and scrapped most of their policies.
Drakeford should be seeking solutions to the problems to allow these restaurants to operate but instead be just shuts everything down.
If he is worried about airborne transmission within buildings then why not put it high volume air purifiers? They exist and they are effective. Just ask the South Koreans.

First Minister Mark Drakeford has come under pressure from his own Labour backbenchers over his ban on the sale of alcohol in Welsh pubs.
Alun Davies demanded to see evidence underlying the decision.
Meanwhile Hefin David said information from a group advising ministers should have been published when the decision was taken.
Mr Drakeford said the case for the need for the restrictions - aimed at easing a rise in cases - was "compelling".
Pubs, bars and restaurants in Wales will not be able to serve alcohol on the premises from 18:00 GMT on Friday.
Welsh Conservative Senedd leader Paul Davies said many businesses will "not survive" the decision.
Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price said it was a "mistake", said the changes were "not comprehensible" and could damage public trust.

Weatherspoons also just announced its closing all its Welsh pubs from Friday until further notice.

Icing on the cake really! The scientific evidence says catch covid at home more than a pub..... WG still refusing to give clear evidence of decision every spokesman as avoided giving specific evidence to the decision.... latest one just said majority of people go on pub crawls so spreading virus...
