Maybe when he gets to 15 goals, but not now  and sorry, but apart from his goals (2 in one game) Moore hasn't been that special imo,not knocking one of our own,but needs to do a fair bit moore (oops!) Before he deserves the hat song, and Wilson is streets ahead of him talent wise. :old: :bluebird:

He’s on course for 15 goals so he can have the song as long as his ratio stays at this level. If not we take it back

Kieffer Moore is no where near the level of Peter Thorne when it comes to either touch, link up play or heading the football (at goal or to a team mate).

Kieffer Moore is more the new Alan Lee.

Goals per game is the most important stat for a striker. Thorne 0.36 goals per game at City. Moore 0.33 goals per game.

But thorne's record was over 126 games played for us! Or does that mean vassell's record is worth the hat? He averages 1.0 per game! Lol.

A goal every game! maybe we could get our money back on him based on that!

So does Moore or any player need to play 126 games before we fit their name into a song? If their stats are better of course.

Im not too sure what some people expect from Moore. If they are expecting a 20+ striker who is silky on the ball then they are just setting themselves up for dissapointment. He is a big upgrade on Patterson and the best option we have at the moment. Hes on course to hit 15 goals this season and at 1.5mill hes been a decent signing. Probably should have scored a few more this season but all strikers miss opportunities.

No not really, but at 5 goals, its a tad early for him to be given the hat imho.I didnt expect too much from Moore, but so far so good, when he bangs them in regularly he will deserve a song.

The songs don't really mean much anyway. Hoilet hasn't danced around defenders for a while and he gives the ball away, quite a lot. Also, city arnt the greatest team in football and they havnt made me happy this season when skies have been grey  the atmosphere isn't great down the CCS so I won't complain if people want to stick a hat on Moore's head if it gets them singing-not that well be back down there anytime soon.

Championship joint 4th top scorer . In a team that as struggled to score , in most games until the last two. So not a bad return .

Hes a decent player. Might not take every opportunity but he does get himself into decent positions. Provide the service and he'll score goals. For a big guy he works hard and covers a lot of ground as well. 7 goals in a team that has struggled for most of the season is good going.

At his current strike rate he can get 21 goals in 46 games.

Early days, but given the team has had an awful run in the first 15 games if they maintain the form of the last couple of games 20+ goals is gettable for Moore.

If you look at his last few goals he’s showing a real poachers instinct that I didn’t expect.

At the moment it’s looking like that’s the best £2m we’ve spent in years !

No Moore is much better than Alan Lee who could go months without scoring a goal. Lee couldn't even get into double figures for a season in scoring. I am guessing Moore will score somewhere between 15 and 20 this season if he stays fit. What we could really do with is someone alongside him who would also get 15 goals. Maybe Harris Glatzel or Wilso though it'd looking unlikely at the moment.

i remember being very young going to an open day and Alan Lee was greeting fans, and dai hunt said to him, i'm not asking for much alan, but how about 1 goal this mate, 2 if your feeling up for it. i remember i laughed so much, (first time i ever seen dai hunt) haha.

listen in regards to Moore, aslong as he gets service he could well turn out to be a magical player, but the nature of football is, he could scored 10 in 5 games, then not score in 10 games, at the end of the season, depending where he is at goal wise (league goals, not cup goals) then maybe you can consider the magic hat song

but god i loved peter thorne when i was a youngster

Head of heaven? For us to date, his heading has let him down imho, otherwise he could be on 10 already.maybe "head in heaven" due to his height.in truth if he scores with his arse its good enough, they all count.
