Great article in The Sunday Times my club. After the Blackpool game his son said it is a sunny day, Jason responded “ no it isn’t , there’ll never be a sunny day again” so true at the time.

All my son can remember after the whistle is me repeating over and over again "Forty bloody years!!" (It was that long i had been waiting for top level football)

That game really took the stuffing out of me. Took me she’s to recover.

Easily the most disappointed I've ever been after a football match.

When we went 2-1 up when Joe Ledley scored, I was certain we would get the job done.

Took me months to get over it, in terms of football. Still felt flat about it on the first day of the following season.

Will never forget that match and the feeling afterwards, for all the wrong reasons.

But I thought Jason Mohammad supported Spurs.

After about 55 minutes of the game , I sat with my head in my hands , looking at the floor. I knew we were going to lose the game .
I still haven't properly recovered . If we had got promoted with that team , I think we would be still in the PL now . I think we would have grown as a team and a club !

I had been waiting 40 years. They were already in the 2nd Division when i first went. Those even older than me had been waiting close to 50 on that day.

That game changed the way i felt about football forever. I was so gutted I actually hated everyone associated with the club. They bottled it.
Everyone can accept defeat, especially fans from the 80's and 90's but that loss was ridiculous.
I've not felt the same about football and City since.
