For the first time this season we played a game at pace and reaped the rewards.
Also we did away with trying to pass the ball around at the back which usually results in us giving the ball away or having to hit it long and hope we find a player.
We are not a great passing team so lets not kid ourselves into thinking that we can play that way, we cant, simple as that!
Its usually 3 or 4 passes then give we the ball away.......repeat!
You cant hurt teams by playing slow slap dash football in front of them as by doing so we give them time to get back into shape and nullify our attacks.
Harry Wilson and Lee Tomlin apart we have no flair in the team, if you keep them quiet we don't create things.
Its been the same pattern week in week out until yesterday when Harris had to change things to keep his job and fair play it worked for him.
Our 2 slowest players Pack and Hoilett were benched and it seemed to give the team a lot more energy.
Mark Harris made a huge difference, his pace had Luton really worried.
Well done for changing things Neil.
I'm looking forward to see what you come up with on Tuesday.
Pace is the key!
