Laugh at WG stupidity! obviously no ones told them that trains run near empty after rush hour generally ..... wheres the spare capacity to run trains on mainline tracks provide lots extra busses to run empty ect ect the cost will be unsustainable over period of time ? As for changing

cant operate 24hrs a day or 16hrs for that matter just to suit WG, and bit like the £44m wasted on 1st commission a total waste of money .... pie in sky ideas that will fail because only people rejoicing are the people who shout save the planet whilst using car to go to work as too far to walk or cycle eith too expensive public transport.

The M4 around Newport is an absolute nightmare and has been for years. It effects all companies in the area and they lose £millions of revenue because of it

Dripford and his cronies and proved time and time again they are not intelligent or qualified enough to run the Country and unfortunately many people are going to suffer because of their actions.

Exactly they seem to think that reducing speed limit on motorway is going to ease congestion and pumping a billion into ideas that are not practical for vast majority of m4 users is way forward! Drakeford is only interested in his ego and loves the adoration he gets from minority groups that wanted m4 scrapped.

Tfw idea is to go from 3 stations to 9 along Newport to Cardiff line ! Obviously that's going to mean buying more trains also employing more staff ...... then want charge firms in centre for car parking spaces good way to have firms relocate away....a cycle track all way between Cardiff Newport see that being busy particularly in winter and rain! 50mph Speed limits will be extended to tredegar park and eventually all major trunk rds ...... already muted to want 50mph for a48 & a40! Other than stations and speed limits one must question if things will get off ground ? All this despite 1st commission telling drakeford that 80% of m4 traffic go pass Newport so his plans are illogical and pointless and a waste of time and money.

and the other way mate...ive actually queued to get onto the bridge from the M49 a few times half peed off with how many caravans are in the queue making it that much longer, and half peed off with the thought that many of those will at some point stop coming and spending...

May get same response from the people who have pop concerts sport events ect ect if they know going to have transport problems for ever and a day may not bother to organise events in Cardiff over time

You say WAG but in reality its labour as they've been only party in power since devolution! Labour are anti car and have been for many years take look at Cardiff a labour council for ever it seems..... they want people uo use public transport especially in Cardiff but they have decimated bus services by their money grabbing excersise of demolishing bus station and putting up two carbunkles in its place and then moving its central location to 4 or 5 terminals around city half a mile apart at least! And using rickshaws to transport O.A.P and disabled people to connecting bus?

Unfortunately they know they can do whatever they want because come the end of next May, they will still be in power. Drakeford has even said that he will step down from FM after the elections. How arrogant is that???

Hes power mad and He likes being centre of attention and well do anything to get noticed even at deprement of his constituents or the Welsh people as a whole.... arrogant doesn't do him justice .

Theres two choices for Wales. Its about time funding fom England ceased and the country stand by its choice made. Or scrap the WAG and let the Welsh Office run it.

We could end up with both.

Chris, been caught many a time for hrs just trying to go a mile. If there’s a major problem on the M4 all of Newport comes to a standstill. Drakeford not standing as leader after the elections probably knows he’s going to be ousted with that idiot Vaughan Gethin.

Commission was told not to include new rd in their deliberations... the one striking thing in all of this is drakefords understanding of the problem... he either is ignoring the problem because hes more interested in appeasing green lobby or he is stupid? Everyman and his dog knows most traffic using m4 do so to get either to Cardiff and behond or Bristol and behond so putting extra stations are not serving any purpose so wasting best part of £500m! Best idea from his commission is to build a proper cycle route between Cardiff and Newport why?
