west bound on a Friday its got earlier and earlier mate.... would be more understandable if it was Westminster stopping it but the people strangling our economy are the Welsh Assembly... as for the public transport milarky no good to me and no good to the majority that have just crossed the bridge...

Papa Smurf’s a crank, bought an Airport but isn’t chasing new business because he doesn’t want to increase emissions. As for the Bryn Glas tunnels THEYRE going to get busier and busier till they gridlock the whole M4 this side of the bridge.

and the other way mate...ive actually queued to get onto the bridge from the M49 a few times half peed off with how many caravans are in the queue making it that much longer, and half peed off with the thought that many of those will at some point stop coming and spending...

They are a joke and Dripford is probably the most annoying and pathetic leader I have ever come across

Agree with everyone else it’s a nightmare section of the M4 and needs another route.
I’m surprised this Lord bloke doing the inquiry didn’t suggest Wales Internationals being played at 3am instead of normal times. Together with concerts and big matches.
Beggers belief, if the Conservatives pledge to build a new route if they win Wales elections next year they will walk into power!

Karl, as a local the current situation must be a nightmare for you. It's not been good for many a year and WAG early need to set it out for the benefit on Newport and South Wales as a whole

Chris, been caught many a time for hrs just trying to go a mile. If there’s a major problem on the M4 all of Newport comes to a standstill. Drakeford not standing as leader after the elections probably knows he’s going to be ousted with that idiot Vaughan Gethin.
Hopefully they’ll sort it for all the people that need to use it.
