' LAST NIGHTS MATCH '

Well where do I begin, the first couple of minutes when Pack played a lovely ball through to Baccuna running up the wing, I though it might be a good game, but alas I was mistaken.

When I saw the team sheet , I thought to myself here we go again, basically the same team, does not Harris realize that picking the same team and tactics, was going to produce the same results, or worse, which proved to be right.

I am not going to blame the crap referee, for our defeat, that is all down to Harris and the players, but Coventry should have had two players sent off for bad tackles, one on Ralls , the ref giving a foul by Wilson and one on Wilson then giving an offside. do these refs not know that even if you give a previous foul that you can still book players or send them off for dangerous fouls,There was nothing wrong with our disallowed goal no foul by us , their players both collided and it was an own goal.I do despair.

Anyway back to the match, what little there is to write about, as far as I can remember a good save by their goalie was the only time we really threatened them, that is absolutely diabolical.

As I posted last night, we are only 5 points above the relegation zone and it seems that Harris is in that place that Neil Warnock was before he left, he does not know what to do, and is trying to play safe and not putting out a team with good tactics that can turn this run around.

I do feel that Harris has one more game left to start turning it around, but it would be no surprise to see him gone before Saturday

SAME TEAM SAME TACTICS, SAME RESULT :banghead:

Needs to go today, for whatever reason the players are just not playing anywhere near their potential

It’s still a good squad, with good players and it not to late to challenge for the play offs, but we need a new manager in within next 10 days or it will be too late

Bellamy would be a hugely risky choice but we are at the stage where we already have to take risks to save this season

Exactly how I'm feeling.

For the last probably 4 games I've thought "this is the one." Where everything clicks, we score first, play well, etc. Not happening for whatever reason. And I'm sorry, but Coventry... It doesn't come much easier than that.

Luton must be absolutely last chance saloon!!! I'm not hopeful.

Saturday he as a choice stick to team he likes and suffer the consequences or have a total revamp drop Morrison & hoillett bring in new guy play ojo put bacuna back in midfield and play other players in their natural side of pitch and preferred positions....put Wilson central behind Moore do that and he may be surprised how well we play and could get him out of jail! Just tinkering like last night wont be enough... :old:

personally i thought last night was different... in the previous games the players looked as if they were desperate to score in the last 15/ 20 mins.... last night i just didnt see that...they looked beaten mentally and physically and what ever belief { or winning mentality as some would say } sailed down the Coventry Canal around 9 0 clock..

My fear is the manager will sort of half turn it around say get a win against Luton a draw against Huddersfield and lose the next game and the board will endlessly dither about getting rid of him leaving us with a nothing season finishing in the bottom third but avoiding relegation. There is a certain logic about giving the manager until just before the end of the season before sacking him for one thing it costs less and we are virtually certain not to make the playoffs anyway. A better potential manager might become available in that time too. I think we have all written off this season now anyway.
