POLL: NEIL HARRIS TIME UP AT THE CCS?

Wed Nov 25, 2020 9:38 pm

After yet another poor result that just repeats what has gone on before, it does appear that the squad either don't 'buy into' or cannot 'play to' the tactics of manager Neil Harris

Until now, I've not been too anti-Harris but this wasted opportunity might just be one too far

Time to go, Neil Harris...?

In all the other polls on this subject that there's been on here, I've voted no.

But sadly I think his time is up now.

That said. No idea who would come in and work under the conditions the board would insist.

You can count out everyone's first choice.

SVEN

about time you got with the program.

Not sure but he does need to make some wholesale changes at the back.

I think it’s time. The difficulty will be finding someone decent to replace him. I’d have gone with Hughton but Forest got in there first. I don’t think we’ve any chance of getting Eddie Howe. From realistic names, I think Paul Cook deserves a go with a bigger club

As I said in another thread, I think its time he leaves. I'm really not sure who I'd like to see come in though. What are other peoples thoughts?

The only name that really springs to my mind is Nigel Pearson, and although I think he would help us climb the table, he doesn't really excite me. Maybe Lee Bowyer? He's done fairly at Charlton considering the circumstances.

Annis, that's my only worry...another one of those!

But voted 'YES' above, as it's clearly not working :(

Hope your birthday meal was better than the game?! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :D

He hasn't got a clue at this level. We have been playing Suckerball all season. We are playing at it, its not professional.

A proper manager will come in play a direct 433 and watch it turn around.

Ive voted unsure, but to be honest,i am leaning more towards a yes, than no at present,I agree with Worcester,he is losing the dressing room? Or the players we have, simply cannot play to the style he wants? Either way,he wont have long imho, tonight will have made the board sit up surely? Trouble is,people say no more yes men,but they are thin on the ground, more likely to get another one, than not.

Can’t or won’t play for him, that’s what has been concluded from what is a team we know can perform 100% better. This only means one thing, time for a change.

Baccuna is taking the mickey out of you Mr Harris, and the 2mil show pony Up front will get a few goals this season but his greatest contribution is to hold The ball up (eventually ) After 15 touches In midfield thus slowing the play down.
Time for you to go, if they don’t sack you after this game it’s only because they haven’t found another cheap yes man yet.

I think so but I have absolutely no confidence in the board bringing in a decent replacement I'm afraid.

I always try to give the manager my backing but it seems his time is up,what I will say too is I’m pissed off with most of the players too (Morrison Nelson pack ralls Hoilett Murphy Glatzel Bennett Bacuna).
These players are paid a good wage and are totally under performing.
Yes the buck stops with the manager but for fucksakes play the game.
These players let Warnock down last year and Harris this season.

No coming back from that. He should walk if he's not sacked.

Harris is playing players out position or not in their best positions bacuna and Wilson prime examples... also he insists on playing Morrison who time after time cost us goals! He needs to start over again with a different team and tactics ... cant he see To go into game with mentality of mustnt lose rather than we can win is not working and hasn't all season

Never wanted Harris and never changed my mind but trust me I really wanted him to prove me wrong but unless he goes I fear league 1 by the time we get back to watch the City. Dalman and Tan have to act quickly.

So many people hate that useless Warnock for some reason and I still think he would have got us out of this mess and he and boro are 7 points ahead of us and 7th and Swansea are 9 points ahead in 4th and we are 18th and in the shit and only 5 points away from the bottom 3 after losing to Coventry who were bottom 3.

Worrying times

Would be my choice but he has a history of falling out with chairmen and would certainly not be willing to put up with any nonsense from the boardroom.

For that reason unfortunately I think he's a non starter.

We'll be looking down the leagues or perhaps giving Bamba a chance I think.

Nigel Pearson. If not can’t stand the guy but John Terry especially with his contacts.

Ralls at fault for the goal.

Ralls pass was poor but Morrison had time to clear the ball but instead tried to stop their striker and missed the ball completely allowing the striker through.

Both at fault unfortunately.
