The picture that was painted was that we seemed clueless in all aspects of what we were trying to do.
It's a simple game, it needs simple clear instructions to the players to follow. The rest is down to fitness and talent.
I dont know who we play next - but it will likely be his last game in charge.

We might not see eye to eye but I'm glad you've finally come on board to the opinion I've held since he was appointed.
I was astonished at our playoff push last season and thought I may be wrong at times but something still didn't smell right with this manager and I maintained he was not the right man for this job knowing that others would have been blind sided by the playoffs last season and his words going into this. Anyone could see the signings were insufficient and our forward line is limp.

Its the back 4 that is the issue and has needed changing for weeks. Weve got a Croatian international who Leicester paid 15mill for who is decent with the ball at his feet - by all accounts- sat on the bench. But we start a cb every game who has spent most of his career in league 2 , instead. Morrison looks well off the pace as well. Neither are any good with the ball at their feet yet Harris insists on playing it out from the back. We've also got a cm filling in at rb which is massive loss to our midfield as it means pack plays every game.
Literally a few weeks ago Harris said we have got other options at rb. Bennet, Bagan, Nelson etc. If that's the case stick benkovic in at cb, shift a defender to rb and put bacuna back in the middle.

bottom line here is we have a squad that all have their attributes... and its the managers job to come up with a system and style that suits what he has and make those attributes into an effective unit.......not the other way around...yes we can look at how poor A or B is doing whatever... and as frustrating as that is they are who they are.. the amount of goals we have conceded from safe possession in our own half this season is mind boggling... is it the individual that over/under/ miss hit a square ball to blame or the fella that watches them every day in training asking them to do it knowing full well we are not Man City..?

Both need to take responsibility for the poor performances. No doubt Harris tactics have caused issues this season and as manager the buck stops with him. But some of the individual errors have been absolutely amateur. Literally stuff you see in Sunday leagues. Harris must pull his hair out sometimes. You don't need to be a man City type player to carry out basic passing.
My point was, we've been punished for trying to play it out from the back and players have consistently been poor but Harris won't make a simple switch by bringing in a player who will probably be more suited to how he wants to play.

but im afraid you do need to be a man city type player, its why they get paid the big bucks mate... yes anyone can hit a 20 yard ball square... so youd think...but its how high the percentage is that you get it spot on... the more your asked to do it the more likely a mistake...the better the player the less mistakes.. im not disputing the player youd like to see, but the goals conceded by poor passes / touches in whats been regarded a danger area for ever havent been by CBs... its every flaming game... and because the balls being knocked about in our defensive 1/3 rd our defenders are often out of position looking for space and an angle to recieve the next pass...

Nobody wants to see morrison constantly lump the ball aimlessly and inaccurately upfield all game. It didnt work for the man who built the squad to play that way and built his career playing it. The club are moving away from it and rightly so. Harris wants us to play out from from the back and a natural step to do that, you'd think, is to play someone who is actually more suited to play like that. Surely?
Obviously playing it out from defence increase the risk of losing the ball in dangerous areas but they are playing that type of football in league 1 and 2 now and that goal we conceded was below that level and sums up our season so far. - a bobbled pass out from the back by morrison, a scuffed back pass by ralls, morrison should have just hooked it out for a throw or corner, but instead tries to hold off the player who easily gets around him and scores. A goal conceded from nowhere when under very little pressure. A combination of the tactics and individual errors.
You seem to be focusing on just the goals conceded from bad passes when We've conceded more goals from sloppy defending. Where morrison have consistently been poor this season. Another thing Harris hasn't addressed despite having a potential solution sat on his arse.
I'm not defending Harris, at the end of the day these are his tactics and he trains the players. But some of the goals we've conceded this season have been amateur, at best, and the players need to take some of the responsibility for it, not just the manager.

yes im focusing on the goals conceded by mistakes that are the easiest avoidable... its a mistake waiting to happen..are always the first goal in a game which under Harris means we are extremely unlikely to then win and the irony is far more often as not if we succeed in making 4 or 5 of these stupid passes eventually someone does lump it... and it actually is aimless as the pressure has invariably mounted to it being rushed...... you certainly dont win promotion being aimless and inaccurate .. its impossible..you wouldnt win a bloody parks game just kicking it anywhere... which is part, a big part of the problem ,far from playing FROM the back we play AT the back so when the ball is hit 60 yards its not hit by someone who has taken one touch in space has looked up and set...its launched often off balance and under pressure.. or we lose it in which case harrisball has managed to move our defenders around into the wrong positions better than a pep master plan...
