Ye of little faith

I predict that tonight Harris will see the light.....
Take Pack out of the team.
Put Bacuna into midfield.
Ensure a more creative midfield
Include Murphy
Put Glatzel on the bench as last 20 minutes option.
Play faster and on the front foot from the start.
Result Coventry 1 Bluebirds 4

Suddenly the team start to believe and go on a winning run

Ah well that was a great dream I had last night :bluebird: :D

i think the team believe mate...the amount of draws we have rescued after being behind i think shows belief and effort.... its this managers safety first attitude thats killing us...
i put on another thread that since he has been here we have scored the first goal in 18 games , we went on to win 16 of them... yet time and time again we get punished early for a mistake while fckn about and have to chase the game... only once have we conceded first and then won..

i think either he grasps this tonight or the board will be full of who will be our nxt manager threads tomorrow

Yes very good point you make about scoring first, and fighting for a draw. But I also feel with a slight change of personnel and a more positive mindset, we can put away a few teams with a fairly decisive result. That would give us confidence and momentum. Up to now, this season, I cant really think of any game where we have looked like doing that.with our ‘sideways sideways then back’ midfield. :bluebird:

Well it needs a rip roaring second half and Harris to find the light switch let alone turn the fecker on.

I was being sarcastic, :banghead: :banghead: which was why I said that it was a DREAM. There is no way I would bet on City scoring more than one goal in a game :P
Why??
Because I have said before Harris is putting PACK in midfield with Ralls. Hardly a balanced midfield.
The commentary that Ilistened to said 4 times on the trot”Pack passes it back.” Four times on the trot in the first half. And then at the start of the second half he passes it back but straight to a Coventry player and they nearly scored!!
Even then the first 2 changes didnt involve taking Pack off.
At least he took Hoillett who was anonomous, but Ojo has yet to show he is worth a starting place. Taking off Murphy for Glatzell actually weakens the team (at least Murphy has pace and showed he can perform in the Prem.We arent blessed with great midfileders but please God no more Marlon (passes it back) Pack. Bacuna is a far better midfielder than at full back. Yet he perseveres with Pack and plays Bacuna out of position. Why bring on Harris in injury time - clutching at straws or what??

Play with 3 proper midfielders and try to connect the. Defence to the attack.its not rocket science. The squad is good enough, but he plays the same players and firmation andexpects a different result.... isnt that the definition of madness?
I would give Harris a couple more games to sort it out.... but Im losing patience very quickly
