my only concern is for those buying into something that would normally take them a nano second to reject...
90% then Russia have one thats 92% , now the next one is 95% , chances are by the end of the week its going to top a 100 %.. and remarkably all these vaccines are coming to fruit one after another in a relatively short period of time.... bit like the twighlight zone...
pushing the percentage is actually making it look more sus not less....

The only way we got back to normal is if people resist. Fortunately, more people are awakening to this.

yes dubious.... how different labs all over the world using completely different methods of tackling a virus are like a line of dominoes falling . different types of vaccines that all have remarkably similar and remarkably high claims of effectiveness... i honestly think everyone should think long and hard before getting excited and getting in the queue.....agree some of the claims about micro chips are really not helping one way or the other...
i have loads of questions..but here is 1.....assuming its as on tin and does actually work.. how can anyone fore see the effectiveness of a vaccine in 9 months time or possible side effects, or reactions to the million and one other prescribed drugs... when it has not existed 9 months... ??????? you simply can not condense time...
its been rushed... and at the very least should be said clearly that these companies have not been given a free pass re future litigation from any harm done....

It does put a completely different perspective on it from me, and of course, we will see things from polar opposites.
I do think medical science has moved on a long way since then, and that the same mistakes will not be made in the future. Everything I have read and have been told confirm that although the testing was done in record time, often overlapping processes to speeds things up, the testing was as stringent if not more than previous vaccine testing.
We will all just have to wait and see and make our own decisions based on the facts presented.
I do worry about the legal system ruining the health service and making doctors scared to take the appropriate actions for fear of often false negligence claims, but that's the terrible World we now live in?
Maybe governments will take responsibility for it so that they can be recommended as safe and that may reassure more people?

Maybe, a bit like UK Government are taking responsibility for the lethal cladding fiasco that Government agencies/depts gave the final go ahead as safe BUT now claim no responsibility and the poor leaseholders who had no choice have to stump up for taking it off !!

I appreciate testing has been shortened but they have tested it across a raft of people across the world so the results are pretty comprehensive. The problem is that any long term effects are untested but, after all, this isn't about changing genetic make-up or even using new methods to develop. This science is used frequently to devise vaccines that provoke our existing immune systems into tackling the virus.
Bottom line is pretty simple. If we insist on the usual testing periods that will probably mean another 12-18 months of living like we have been. That is unsustainable on any level, be it economic, mental wellbeing, social, etc.
I also think there may have to be limits on people who don't have the vaccine. Limited foreign travel, limits to visiting hospitals/Care Home, etc. Easy enough to police if they just issue inoculation cards.

i think the government should give those taking the vaccine a waiver form... where people take full responsibility for any side effects and get those side effects treated privately.. enough ordinary people have already suffered through covid 19 preventing them being diagnosed and treated by our NHS without being dumped on and down graded a 2nd time through hospitals being overwhelmed because people knowingly took an experimental vaccines...

But after a couple of months please tell me how the living hell can they say to what percentage it is effective ? They can’t and you have got to be f*cking brainwashed or frightened enough to believe such a claim.
Agree with a poster that those saying that 5g chips inserted in this vaccine does not help at all that is madness. But the talk of mandatory vaccination or blackmail ie travel and restrictions would not be needed if this vaccine had gone through the stringent testing that it should. And talk of censoring those that question it is also very dangerous.

Are you mad !!??
All the evidence appears to show that these vaccines will assist the NHS in recovering.
This vaccine, on the face of it, is safer than the normal flu jab. You don't even receive a small dose of the infection, like with the flu jab, just a very small part of the cells.
Therefore surely any "penalties" should be on those NOT taking the vaccine !!??
On the balance of probabilities it's clear that the best way out of the pandemic is vaccination. If you don't take it then it will continue to infect people and put the vulnerable at risk, I'm more than willing to take the jab to protect others, even if there is a minimal risk.

Sweet Jesus.....I don’t know where to begin with this. It isn’t the 1970’s and medical science has come a long way since we electrocuted people or cut out part of the frontal lobe of the brain for with depression. Computer tech makes analysis of the virus and how to counter it, aswell as new drugs far far quicker than it used to, this is one if the biggest factors in reducing the time to bring a new drug into the public domain. We don’t need to wait 5 years to see if it works. Why should we? We have lots of new cancer treatments we didn’t have 10 years ago, 25 years ago we hardly had any! Dementia is one of the trickiest as we still don’t understand half of what the brain does.

There are vaccines against cancer and they're making one that helps fight alzehemiers but there is a difference between countering viruses or bacteria and countering your own body changing.Nuclearblue wrote:There are reasons why it takes around 6 years to produce and test a vaccine and speeding it up and cutting red tape is laughable.
A) There's far more people working on this than other previous vaccines
B) There's a lot more money available to them
C) Corona virus is similar to MERS and SARS so a lot of initial analysis has been practically done with recent work to stop them.Nuclearblue wrote:But after a couple of months please tell me how the living hell can they say to what percentage it is effective ?
Effectiveness is based on how many antibodies and t cells you produce. its a virus and a vaccine for christ sakes..not a TV show where 10 teams race to make a raft out of twigs and then negotiate a pond...
You were saying it's like the flu and a vaccine would take either take years or never happen and that we should all carry on as if nothing had happened a few weeks ago, I told you it wouldn't take long as all the best brains in the world were working on this vaccine as it is a global problem. Of course the results were going to come close together as they started at the same time and it looks like it took about ten months to crack!
